POLICY
WE HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE
By making an appointment through our booking site, you are at least 18 years of age. You have read and understood our policies listed below. You have read and fully understand our cancellation policy and agree to all late cancellation, no-show, and deposit charges where applicable. If you do not fully understand these terms, please email us for clarification before the use of this site. If you do not fully agree to these terms, please do not use this booking system.
DEPOSITS
When booking your appointment, you will be asked to place a deposit for your service. This deposit will be applied toward your total service cost that is due the same day of your appointment. Deposits are taken via Zelle and Venmo and $50 Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling appointments will only be possible if the artist is given at least 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment. Due to limited appointment availability, Last-minute rescheduling will consider as a cancellation, you will lose your deposit.
CANCELATION AND NO SHOW
Any appointments cancelled within 48 hours of appointment date will not be able to transfer deposit to a later date and deposits will be forfeited.
Please understand that we have set aside time for your appointment and without proper notice we will not be able to find a replacement for your appointment time. If you are late for longer than 20 mins, you will consider it as a no-show and you will lose your deposit. Payment is accepted via Zelle and Venmo.
Please, do not book if you are pregnant, nursing or have certain medical conditions. A consultation is recommended if you're unsure.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR PMU APPOINTMENT
If you have existing permanent makeup, you must email/text clear photo of the area before booking to ensure you're eligible for a cover-up or correction. Or you can schedule a consultation prior to booking an appointment.
Pre-Care Instructions
To ensure the best results and optimal pigment retention, please follow these guidelines before your procedure
- • Do not consume caffeine and alcohol least 24 hours before your procedure
- • Refrain from taking blood thinners, including painkillers, for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- • Stop using fish oil or vitamin E supplements at least one week prior to the procedure.
- • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or Aleve for at least 48 hours before the procedure.
- • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- • Do not work out on the day of your procedure.
- • Avoid saunas or tanning or excessive sun exposure at least 1 week prior to your appointment, as sunburned skin cannot be treated
- • No Botox, fillers, facials, or chemical peels for at least two weeks before the procedure
- • Stop using Retinol, AHA/BHA, or exfoliating treatments on the procedure area at least one week before to prevent skin sensitivity.
- • You cannot be on antibiotics at the time of your appointment.
- • No waxing, threading, or tinting on the treatment area one week before the procedure.
- • If you are prone to cold sores (for lip procedures), Please, contact to your medical doctor for consultation and take an antiviral medication (Ex: Valtrex, valacyclovir) at least 2-3 days before your appointment.
- • Wear your normal makeup to the salon on the day of the appointment.
- • As delicate skin or sensitive areas may appear swollen or red, it is recommended not to schedule any social plans on the same day
- • Stay hydrated and gets a good night's sleep before your appointment to help your skin be in its best condition.
Following these pre-care instructions will ensure better pigment retention, minimize irritation, and promote smooth healing.
After-Care Instructions
Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results. Follow these instructions carefully for optimal healing and long-lasting results.
First 24 Hours:
- • Keep the treated area completely dry.
- • Avoid water, sweat, and excessive moisture.
- • Gently blot the treatment area with the clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid (do not rub)
- • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.
- • Avoid touch or scratch your treatment area.
Day 1-7 (wash and moisturize)
- • Wash your face at morning and night with water; use your clean fingertips with very light touch to clean the brows.
- • After washing, pat your treatment area gentle with clean tissue to dry.
- • Allow your treatment area dry completely before applying moisturizing.
- • Once dry, use a sterile Q-tip to gently apply thin layer (small amount - about half size of a grain of rice per brow) of the provided ointment 1-3 times daily to prevent excessive dryness and promote healing.
- • Avoid cleaning product that contain acid (glycolic, lactic or AHA) or defoliants.
- • NO swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers).
- • NO makeup, lotion, sunscreen, or skincare products on the treated area.
- • NO sweating or excessive exercise for at least 7 days.
Day 5-12 (Peeling/Flaking Phase): During this phase, focus on moisturizing them
- • DO NOT pick, scratch or rub at peeling or flaking skin, allow it come off naturally.
- • When flaking is complete (typically around 10-14 days), this phase of healing is over, you can resume activities.
- • NO facials, Botox, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
- • NO direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks to prevent pigment fading.
Healing Timeline (varies by individual):
- • Days 1-3: The treated area may appear darker, thicker, and slightly swollen.
- • Days 4-7: The skin may feel dry, itchy, and start to scab or flake. Do not pick at it.
- • Days 7-10: Most scabs will fall off, and the color may temporarily appear lighter or faded due to the healing skin.
- • Weeks 3-4: The color will begin to resurface and settle into its final shade. Some areas may still look uneven.
- • Weeks 4-6: A touch-up session is recommended to perfect the shape and color.
Additional Tips:
- • Use a clean pillowcase and avoid sleeping on your face.
- • Drink plenty of water and maintain a healthy skincare routine (avoiding the treated area).
- • If you experience excessive swelling, redness, or signs of infection, please, contacts a professional immediately.
